David Keith McCallum Jr., a former Scottish actor and musician, was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on September 19, 1933.
In 1951, McCallum began serving as an assistant stage manager for the Glyndebourne Opera Company. He began providing boy voices for BBC Radio in 1947 and then, beginning in the late 1950s, landed little parts in British films.
